Buitink Technology produces portable wash pads to measure: foldable, liquid-tight floors in fabric-reinforced PVC with raised edges — also known as wash bay containment mats or inflatable wash pads. Wash vehicles, plant and machinery on site without wash water, oil or fuel reaching the ground. Roll it out, connect the 230 V blower and you have a complete wash bay in minutes.

The only wash pad KIWA-certified as a complete product

Buitink supplies the only portable wash pad with a KIWA product certificate covering the complete floor (Kiwa covenant K97237-2, audited annually). With other suppliers, at most the fabric or the welding process is certified — not the pad itself. Every floor carries the Kiwa mark and a unique registration number, giving you proof of liquid-tightness towards regulators and clients.

Mobile liquid-proof floor properties

Buitink Technology's floors feature an inflatable rim or a rim filled with foam. The liquid-proof floors are made of plastic film, with fabric reinforcement, so that they can withstand heavy equipment. The type of plastic is selected by us according to your requirements and wishes regarding the use of the floor:

• How frequently will the mobile floor be used?
• Will the floor be used in many different locations?
• What chemicals will the floor come into contact with?
• Etc.

Frequently asked questions

Is a portable wash pad compliant?

Washing vehicles requires liquid-tight containment and controlled discharge of the wash water. Requirements are set by your local regulator — the KIWA product certificate and the inspection logbook we supply give you the documentation for that conversation.

Where does the wash water go?

Via the flat suction pump to an oil-water separator, an IBC tank or the sewer — or into a closed-loop system for water reuse.

Can loaders and trucks drive onto the pad?

Yes — the Heavy Duty version is built for heavy plant. The inflatable edges are simply driven over and rise back up by themselves.

How long does the pad last, and what about damage?

Many years in normal use. Small damage is repaired on the spot with the repair kit, and the logbook keeps track of the annual inspection.

What does a portable wash pad cost?

Every pad is made to measure; the price depends on size, duty class (Light, Standard, Heavy or Special Duty) and accessories. Request a quote — you will receive a complete proposal within days.
