Working in silos with restricted access
Silos are often tall, with limited internal space and access via a manhole or inspection hatch. Traditional scaffolding is difficult to install in these situations, requires a lot of set-up time and limits the available working space.
The inflatable work platform is brought in as a compact package through the manhole and inflated on site. This creates a stable work floor without anchoring to the silo wall.
Technical operation
After positioning, the platform clamps itself against the inner wall of the silo by means of controlled air pressure. This results in a stable, load-bearing structure that is suitable for persons and tools.
The work surface is flat and non-slip and can be placed at different heights in the silo, depending on the work to be carried out.
