Buitink TechnologyThe inflatable work platform is used for maintenance, inspection and repair work inside industrial mixers where no fixed working floor is available and internal scaffolding is impractical or unsafe. The platform creates a stable temporary work floor inside the mixer, allowing work to be carried out without dismantling the installation.

Working inside mixers with limited space
Industrial mixers typically have limited internal space and access via a manhole or inspection opening. Traditional scaffolding is difficult to install in these conditions, time-consuming to assemble and often requires improvised solutions.
The inflatable work platform is brought inside as a compact package through the manhole and inflated on site to the required working height. No anchoring to the wall is required.
Technical operation
Once positioned, the platform stabilises itself by clamping against the inner wall through controlled internal air pressure. This creates a stable, load-bearing structure suitable for personnel and tools.
The working surface is flat and slip-resistant and provides sufficient clearance around mixer arms and internal components.
