Buitink Technology develops, manufactures and supplies mobile inflatable noise barriers for temporary and semi-permanent applications in construction, infrastructure, industry and events.

Construction of the inflatable noise barriers

Buitink's mobile inflatable noise barriers consist of an inflatable panel with a thickness of approximately 200–300 mm.

The panels are constructed from double membranes and – depending on the desired noise reduction – supplemented with mass layers, water-filled compartments and/or sound-absorbing materials

This structure makes it possible to:

• achieve high sound insulation
• even at low frequencies
• without heavy, permanent structures

Thanks to the modular principle, the panels can:

• are tuned to the sound spectrum of the source
• vary in mass and performance
• can be easily combined to form screens of different heights and lengths
