The Inflatable Work Platform S is a compact access solution for maintenance, inspection and repair work in confined industrial spaces such as small silos, tanks and installations where traditional scaffolding is impractical or impossible.

Compact inflatable work platform

Work Platform S is the compact variant within Buitink Technology’s range of inflatable work platforms. It is designed for maintenance, inspection and repair activities inside smaller silos, tanks and industrial installations where space is limited.

The platform is brought inside as a compact package through a manhole or access opening and, once inflated, forms a stable temporary work floor at the required height.

When to choose Work Platform S

Work Platform S is suitable for applications where:

• The internal diameter is limited and a compact access solution is required.
• Access is only possible through small manholes or narrow entry points.
• A stable temporary work floor must be created quickly without internal scaffolding.
• Maintenance or inspection is carried out at one or several defined heights.
• A lightweight platform with minimal internal logistics is preferred.

This version is ideal when speed, simplicity and ease of handling are critical factors during maintenance shutdowns.

How Work Platform S works

Work Platform S is transported into the confined space in deflated form and positioned at the desired working level. The platform is then inflated using compressed air or an electric blower.

As pressure increases, the platform presses evenly against the surrounding walls, creating a stable, non-slip work surface. Integrated pressure relief valves ensure safe operation within the defined design limits.

After completion of the work, the platform is deflated and removed through the same access opening.
