Where will you be working?

Buitink Technology is a dynamic, innovative and growing company that handles the development, production and assembly of products made of canvas, foils and technical textile. These include air cushion roofs, art objects, textile facades, lifting cushions, tension ceilings, bellows, covers, stretch tents, canopies and much more.

Our company employs around 25 permanent staff, supplemented by agency staff and several interns. Approximately 70% of the products we make are exported (indirectly) all over the world.

What activities are there?

As a canvas maker/production employee, you will be responsible for making products from canvas, foils and technical textiles. These are very different end products: from tents, lifting cushions, bellows and stretch ceilings to air cushion roofs and textile facades. The techniques used are mainly welding (high frequency, hot air, pulse) and stitching/sewing.

4. Your profile

You have experience as a canvas maker, upholsterer or seamstress/tailor, or you are technically inclined and would like to learn the trade.

Don’t have experience as a canvas maker or as an upholsterer or seamstress/tailor? No problem. If you are technically inclined and would like to learn the trade, we will train you internally.

During the training programme, we will look together with you at your interests and what you are good at, have a talent for or would like to become good at. Because we make such a wide range of products, there are also many different activities and tasks in our company’s production department. There are bound to be jobs that suit you and that you will like!

You are also a hard worker, can work well with others and function well in a team. In addition, you want to work independently to be able to make a product from start to finish. You enjoy making things and working with your hands.

5. What do we offer?

We offer a fun, varied job at a dynamic and innovative company with good primary and secondary benefits and room for personal development. You will work in the production department, but if you like, there are also opportunities to work in the field from time to time.

This is a job for 4 or 5 days a week, from 8:00 to 17:00. After a period of temporary employment, the starting point is an employment contract for an indefinite period.
